LobitaWorks is the collaborative effort of Denali and TNuki, who have been working on fursuits for 17 years and 10 years respectively. There are very few still active in the fandom who have our level of experience. Denali spent 3 of those years working for a professional mascot costume company (International Mascot Corporation in Tucker, GA) creating industry standard costumes for such brands as Little Caesar and Sonic. It was at IMC Denali was introduced to many unique, professional, and efficient methods and materials for mascot construction, methods that translate beautifully to their fursuit work.
The LobitaWorks duo have been both on the artist and client side of commissions many times throughout their tenure in the furry fandom and understand the needs of their clients. We are dedicated to opening clear, honest lines of communication with clients and offering impeccable customer service. LobitaWorks aims to keep wait times low by taking on less work overall. Exact deadlines are welcomed for a fee. We are proud to offer this service to their clients and are grateful for your trust.
We are truly passionate about making costumes, and love to learn new things and experiment. If you are unsure what you’d like your character to look like or want to purposefully leave it in our hands, Denali has a BFA in Illustration and is happy to work with you to design an all-new, never before seen furry character. We are always ready for new challenges and love to get the chance to create a species we’ve never made before!
We have many clients and repeat clients all over the world. We invite you to talk to people with LobitaWorks suits and ask them about their commission experience, take a look at the finishing on their suit. We proudly stand by our work and are absolutely thrilled when we see photos of our suits at events.
Looking for a head, partial suit, fullsuit, or any other project not listed? We are open for new work starting with a special auction slot active now! You can sign up for our mailing list to be notified through email when commissions become available.
The commission process: Heads, partial suits, and fullsuits are not first-come, first-served. Due to high demand, we can only accept a limited number of these commissions a year. We will consider all projects and all species. We are most likely to accept commissions for "artistic freedom" designs, where we can design a character for you from scratch, but are perfectly willing to create a fursuit to match your existing character design. We only work with 18+ individuals.
Depending on the project and deadline, 50-100% of the purchase price may be charged up front to secure your slot in our queue. Measurements and/or a duct tape dummy will be required depending on the project. Delays in sending measurements/dummy can result in work on your commission being delayed or cancelled/refunded. When work has begun on a project, we will stay in close email contact with the client with updates and photos as applicable. We welcome questions and feedback.
Completion dates vary depending on the scope of the project and our current queue. In general, simple parts commissions are completed within three months, and fullsuits, partials, etc are completed within a year or less. Inquire about specifics, or feel free to provide a hard deadline for your commission (deadline fee costs 15-50% of the price- more info in our Terms of Service). We ship from Washington state.
